Session

Open Government and Networked European Democracy

  • Time: 11h00-11h30
  • Location: Salle Lauzelle
  • Level: Intermediate
  • Type: Panel

How can someone in Berlin influence policy discussions at the European level, but also discover what people in Bologna, Bucharest, or a village in the Belgian Ardennes think too? How can we foster open policy making, involving open data and active citizenship? Anthony Zacharzewski and The Democratic Society (demsoc.org) have been exploring and recently published a report on 'Developing a Model for Open Government in the EU'.
